Dry Freight/Box Van Bodies

Dry freight van bodies, also known as box vans, are essentially a fabricated box mounted on Class 3 to 7 cab chassis and used by the general freight industry. These are typically used to haul larger dry items that cannot be accommodated in PDVs. Dry freight vans are mounted on commercial cab chassis.

Box vans feature aluminum, FRP or Duraplate sidewalls.

Dry freight vans also include moving vans that are mainly manufactured with aluminum sidewalls. These vans feature an increased height and an attic or a peak, above the cab, for additional storage, or storage of fragile items. Moving vans are used by furniture stores, and rental and moving companies.

The price of box van bodies primarily depends on the material, and length and the height of the body. These units are mostly standardized with not much difference in price across manufacturers.
