The firm was founded by Brij M. Madan. Brij is a seasoned professional with core skills in strategy, marketing, research, business development and M & A. He graduated from the London School of Economics (“LSE”) for his undergraduate diploma, followed by an MBA at the Graduate Business School at Columbia University, New York.
His early work experience was in a thriving European consulting environment, including the business research unit of the famed British political economy magazine The Economist. From the London hub, he managed global consulting projects serving blue chip clients in the industrial, vehicular, machinery and related industries, leading a pioneering effort to quantify the diesel engine market in every country, resulting in the development of a world-wide industry database. Using this knowledge, he participated in a consortium for a leveraged buy-out acquisition of a leading engine camshaft manufacturer—that was profitably divested.
Subsequently, Brij was engaged in business development for Racor industries, a world leader in specialty filtration devices, now a subsidiary of Parker Hannifin Corporation. He conducted numerous assignments for Racor/Parker, ranging from market investigations to sales, marketing, bolt-on acquisitions, divestitures, and distribution assignments worldwide.
Brij serves as a director on the board of a number of small and mid-size companies, where his services are valued as a Strategy, Finance, Market Planning and middle market M&A adviser.

Paula Theno has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of customer service, client relations, copy writing, editing, information sources and administration of the company website. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in English and from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a master’s degree in Library Science.
Sharbari Sen has been associated with SRN projects for over 15 years and oversees a highly qualified team as Director of Projects. Her experience spans all aspects of analysis and estimations. She has authored numerous reports in her field of expertise in commercial and vocational truck markets. Her prior work experience was in the strategic planning department of DCM Ltd., New Delhi, India. Sharbari is a graduate of Economics from the University of Delhi and an MBA with a specialization in Finance.
Uma Vaidyanathan has a 10+ year association with SRN projects. With a master’s degree in commerce from the University of Bangalore, and a graduate of the Institute of the Cost and Works Institute of India, her strength lies in number-crunching and market size estimation. She has a deep understanding of the truck and trailer markets and has authored several reports on these segments. Her prior experience has been in the mutual fund and insurance businesses. She also has a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India.
Medha Shirali is a Chartered Accountant (CPA) by profession, with experience in accounting and management consultancy. Her portfolio includes developing the SRN marketing network, and research on specialized vocational truck and equipment segments.
Amadee (David) Bender has many years of experience in market research analysis. He graduated from Stern School of Business, New York University with an MBA. Early in his career he worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He operated a successful market research company during the early years of the telecommunications take-off. Thereafter he taught college level business, marketing and finance courses, most recently at the New York Institute of Technology, His main areas of expertise are in the technology, industrial and healthcare sectors.
Sofia Anselmetti assists the SRN analyst team with back-office capabilities, including customer lists, promotional material, email campaigns, and website design. She has an extensive resume as an Executive Assistant and brings numerous skills from her prior employment activities.
