Our Team
Founded by Brij M. Madan, a seasoned professional with core skills in strategy, marketing, research, business development and M & A. Brij graduated from the London School of Economics, followed by an MBA from the Graduate Business School, Columbia University, New York.
His early work experience was in London from where he managed global consulting projects and led a pioneering effort to quantify the diesel engine market in every country, resulting in the development of a world-wide industry database. Using this knowledge, he participated in a consortium for a leveraged buy-out acquisition of a leading engine camshaft manufacturer—that was profitably divested. Subsequently, Brij was engaged in business development for Racor Industries (Parker Hannifin Corporation).
As founder of SpecialtyResearch.net, Brij has led several assignments in market and competition investigations, M&As and divestitures.
Paula Theno has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of customer service, client relations, editing, information sources and administration of the company website. She graduated from Iowa State University and holds a master’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Sharbari Sen has been associated with SRN projects for over 20 years and oversees a highly qualified team as Director, Research & Operations. She has authored numerous reports in her field of expertise in commercial and vocational truck markets. Sharbari is an Economics graduate and an MBA.
Uma Vaidyanathan has a 15+ year association with SRN projects. With a master’s degree in commerce and a graduate of the Cost and Works Institute, her strength lies in number-crunching and market size estimation. She has a deep understanding of the truck and trailer markets and has authored several reports on these segments.
